If you are thinking about renovating your apartment, the first question is always the same: how much is this going to cost me? In this guide we give you real numbers — the same prices per square metre we work with at KOBOR — so you can form an honest idea before asking anyone for a quote.
Price per square metre: the three finish levels
In a full renovation the price is calculated per m² and depends above all on the level of finishes. These are our indicative “from” prices:

Important: these are indicative “from” prices, VAT not included. The final amount depends on the floor area, the condition of the property, access and the materials chosen. That is why a serious price can only be given after a visit — which in our case is free.
Examples by apartment size
Applying the standard finish level (€720/m²) to the most common sizes in Barcelona:
- 60 m² apartment → from around €43,000
- 75 m² apartment → from around €54,000
- 90 m² apartment → from around €65,000

What does a full renovation include?
When we at KOBOR talk about a full home renovation, we mean one single team for the entire project, from start to finish:
- Kitchens: units, worktop, appliances and installation
- Bathrooms: plumbing, tiling, sanitaryware and shower screens
- Layout: partition walls, demolition and new rooms
- Renewed electrical and plumbing installations
- Flooring, painting and interior joinery
- Heating and cooling, insulation and ventilation
